“Global Healthy Policy: Healthcare Evaluation”

On 21st of April, the University of Georgia hosted a public lecture on “Global Healthy Policy: Healthcare Evaluation”.   Guest speaker was the Director of the SOCO Foundation, former first lady of Georgia – Sandra Roelofs.

The lecture pertained to the 4 dimensions of healthcare evaluation:

  • Efficacy
  • Cost – efficiency
  • Humanism
  • Equity

Various types of health risk assessment and 6 steps of healthcare evaluation process were also discussed.
